Parents planning to attend the field trip with their child should purchase their ticket online one week prior to the scheduled field trip to ensure a seat is available on the wagon ride. While tickets are available at the gate, we cannot guarantee a space will be available to ride the wagon with your child.

Spring Strawberry Pickin’ Tour

Join us for an unforgettable strawberry picking field trip experience!

Students will delve into the fascinating world of agriculture as they learn about where their food comes from and the meticulous care that goes into cultivating strawberries!  Participants will have the opportunity to handpick their own delicious strawberries straight from the vine.  It’s an adventure that engages all the senses from the vibrant colors of the berries to the sweet aroma that fills the air.    But the fun doesn’t stop there!  Hop aboard the tractor drawn wagon ride for a scenic tour through the farm.  Students will also have the chance to get their hands dirtty with a hands-on planting activity.

Parking:

  • Parking is limited. We would appreciate chaperones carpooling if possible.
  • Chaperones will park at the top of the hill near the fenced in play area. If that parking area is full, you may park at the greenhouse. 

Admission and Payment:

  • Admission includes a pint of strawberries (spring tour) or pumpkin (fall tours). Any siblings wishing to participate will be charged the standard admission price and will also get to take home a plant and berries/pumpkin. Children 2 and under are FREE, however, they will not receive berries/pumpkin or plant. Those items can be purchased separately.
  • Please check in and pay at the small red building, the “Snack Shack,” inside the fenced in area as soon as you arrive.
  • Cash is preferred. Our mobile credit card machine is slow and multiple credit card transactions can lead to a long check-in line.

Other Miscellaneous Information:

  • The field trip is approximately 2.5 hours including lunch time.
  • Boots or sneakers are recommended footwear… rubber boots are advised if we have had a recent rain.
  • If you have any allergies, please bring your medication! You will be exposed to dust, hay, grass, insects, animals, etc.
  • Picnic table seats are limited at lunch. We kindly ask chaperones to make sure all children have a seat before seating themselves.
  • Finally, we ask our chaperones to help our staff and your school’s teachers to keep an eye out for all students….particularly in matters of safety! Thanks in advance for your help!

Fall Pumpkin Patch Tour
